I'm behind putting out this ‘What am I Listening To?’, because I'm out on the road! I was out at The Songwriter's Soapbox at Chico Feo on Folly Beach. My friend, and musical collaborator Drew Lewis, and his band Tounds [Featuring my old buddy Ryan Bonner] were the featured act.

 They were a reminder of the amazing talent that makes up the low country music scene. They're releasing a new song tomorrow, and opening for Johnny Delaware at the legendary Music Farm in downtown Charleston! Enjoy!

Shovels & Rope is one of the biggest bands to have originated out of South Carolina and I love what they do with their two-piece sound.

SUSTO is a band that originated out of South Carolina, but has been making waves across the country! ‘Friends, lovers, Ex-lovers, Whatever’ is my favorite Susto song (but there's many great ones to choose from).
